Our gym facilities are designed to help you feel comfortable and supported at any fitness level. Explore top-notch equipment, like cardio machines, weights, an indoor pool, and running tracks (both indoor and outdoor). Want to play with friends? Check out our basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts.

Campus Exercise and Recreation Facilities

Swimming Pool
The 8-lane pool is used by students and athletes for lap swimming and competitions.

Cardio and Weight Rooms
Two spaces offer a variety of equipment for your workout, including lifting platforms with dumbbells, kettlebells and free weights; cable machines; treadmills; stationary bikes; ellipticals; stair climbers; and mats for stretching and band work.

Indoor Track
The 200-meter indoor track has 6 lanes used by runners and walkers during the winter and is the host for indoor track and field meets.

Bowling Alley
The 4-lane facility has bowling balls and shoe rentals, plus shuffleboard and pinball nearby.

Basketball Courts
Gather friends for a pick-up game or join the Basketball intramural league.

Volleyball Courts
You can join the Volleyball intramural league or club sports to keep yourself enjoying the game.

Outdoor Track
The 400-meter outdoor track encircles the football field and is used by runners and walkers throughout the year.

O'Shaughnessy Stadium
The field is used by different Club Sports teams for practice and games.

Upper Quad
Students gather on the grassy area between buildings for friendly frisbee and spike ball games.

Meditation Rooms
The campus has meditation rooms available for meditation, prayer or personal reflection.

Locker Rooms
The locker rooms provide a place to store your things, along with showers and changing areas.

Center for Well-Being
The Mind-Body Space hosts yoga and mindfulness workshops, led by staff.

Anderson Athletics and Recreation Complex (AARC)
This building is the central building for the University's athletic program and also provides many of the facilities used by students for their personal fitness and recreation.

Club Sports
Club Sports are competitive student clubs created and run by students, providing options for other students to learn new skills. These clubs compete in their specific sport against other colleges and universities at the club (non-NCAA) level.

Intramurals
Additional recreational activities and low-key competitive sports are offered throughout the year.

Health Promotion Programs
Offered by the Center for Well-Being, these programs support students in healthy decision-making and include yoga and meditation, sleep challenge, 5K run/walk, and many dimensions of well-being.
